Results from Dermapen usually start to become visible within 6 weeks of your first microneedling treatment, and full results 6 weeks after your final session. Rejuvenating results last for approximately 12 months and if Dermapen is used to treat scars or stretch marks, the improvements are permanent.

For maximum results, a course of 3-6 Dermapen microneedling treatments is recommended depending on your skin concerns. Typically, 3 treatments are recommended for skin rejuvenation and 6 treatments for acne scar treatment and for the removal of fine lines and wrinkles.

Dermapen treatment sessions last for around 20 minutes, although this will vary depending on which part of the body is being treated.

The Dermapen microneedling treatment is not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have keloid scarring, or are immunocompromised with delayed wound healing.

This treatment has a minimal recovery period and most patients are able to resume their daily routine within 12 hours following the treatment. You may experience some redness or mild swelling but this should not last for more than 48 hours.
